Background

 

Michael has always been into fitness. Since he was born his father taught him to play soccer, run long distance, and to climb trees. Throughout his youth, Michael has always been an active child.  Come college, he began weight lifting inside a gym setting and have been working out ever since.  Michael loves the way his body responds, and notices that he can move with power and ease with his increased strength and flexibility.  He is dedicated to show others the benefits of fitness and how to incorporate it into your everyday life!

 

Training Principles

 

Michael loves to teach flexibility.  He teaches clients that flexibility is the key to a good foundation of cardiovascular exercise.  Following this, he introduces challenging strength training with proper form to ensure maximum results with good form to avoid exercise related injuries.  Mike helps people with with the basic goals of weight loss and sports performance.

 

"Although the basics are consistent with tradition training principles, I always end up throwing my own spice into the mix and teach my clients full body strength exercises and injury prevention through improved flexibility."

 

Mike emphasizes his training to be an endurance athlete.  He has ran half marathons, his favorite being San Francisco, and also enjoys running the annual Camp Pendleton Mud Run.

 

Michael Ngo is currently studying kinesiology at California State University of Fullerton with a career path orientated towards being a Physical Therapist.
